EMCC Global Funded Research Programs

Bringing practice to research and research to practice

EMCC Global believes in the power of practitioner/researcher dialogue, to build an evidence base for professional practice.

NEW COMPETITION 2023/2024 – Complex Challenges

We wish to extend our programme of small high quality research projects to address complex challenges identified by our members.

The competition themes originate in the complex challenges identified by our members through collective dialogue to co-create ideas for research that is important to our community.

Each successful proposal will be awarded up to 7k Euro to carry out a research project that clearly demonstrates relevance to one of the following themes identified by our members as complex challenges.

  2. How do we achieve Inclusive Return on Investment?
  3. What are the implications of partnerships between AI and coaches?
  4. How can we achieve cultural inclusion in the wider scope of assessment including accreditation?
We invite members to
  • Bring together a project team comprising suitably experienced practitioners and researchers
  • Propose a research project that will provide relevant insights for practitioners into one of the Complex Challenges.
Requirements
  • At least one member of the team must be a practitioner.
  •  At least one must be an EMCC member.

Competition 2022/2023  – Mentoring and Coaching Support Human Capital and Leadership Development

Via a competitive funding process, we invited members to propose  high-quality collaborative research projects better to understand ‘mentoring and coaching support human capital and leadership development’.

A condition of the funding is that both practitioners and researchers must be involved throughout the project. Volunteers from EMCC Global’s Research Development Group provide additional support as required.

The successful teams presented their projects during the EMCC Global Research Conference in September 2022. The project outcomes will be considered by EMCC Global in planning its future priorities and will be published in a special communication to members, early next year.

Future funding calls will relate to the broad challenges we all face. Aim is impact from mutually beneficial collaboration, between practitioners and researchers.
