Continuous Professional Development

Continuous Professional Development also known as CPD.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is defined as the learning process required for coaches, mentors, team coaches, programme managers and supervisors to maintain standards and enhance their practice over time. It involves ongoing commitment to developing knowledge and technical expertise, keeping up to date with evolving best practices, and supporting professional and personal growth.

Learning is transformative, unlocking potential, increasing capacity and capability, and fostering maturity. EMCC Global recognizes both formal learning (e.g. participation in events and courses) and informal learning (e.g. reading, participation in projects etc..).

We believe CPD is fundamental to continuing good practice and you can find our eBook guide to CPD – available in English, French, Polish, Spanish, and Turkish – free for EMCC members. Please go to the Membership tab; access “My Account” and then “Free material for members”.

For more information on the EMCC GLOBAL approach to CPD, we also invite you to download our CPD Roadmap using the following link:     https://emccdrive.org/fpGRG00ajBYjPo5XfADWRPYmzIZ0wPDdGBn9RMBg
