Diversity and inclusion focus for Matthew Radley and Associates

After looking around the coaching community, the coaching references used, the blogs, the materials… EMCC Global Master Practitioner Matthew Radley could see the profession had much to achieve in its DE&I goals.

He and the team at Matthew Radley Associates (MRA) knew change had to come from within.

In 2022 they embarked on a mission to open up coaching, with the aim of training 100 coaches from under-represented groups over the next 10 years, all funded by MRA.

Each of the coaches will be awarded their own EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) thanks to support from EMCC Global.

The EIA is the professional designation that shows the coach is operating to the internationally-recognised standards required and is adhering to the Global Code of Ethics for coaches, mentors and supervisors.

It does not stop there.

As well as training the new coaches to Level 5, the feedback from the cohorts and, indeed, broader society means that Matthew Radley Associates is also revisiting all the materials used throughout their programmes.

Reference materials have been traditionally non-representative but that is now also changing.

New podcasts, new source references, and new perspectives are now incorporated throughout the Matthew Radley Associates programmes.
