Timescales for accreditation

Accreditation submissions can be made at any time of the year.  Approximate timings from the date we receive your submission are as follows.

EIA/ESIA Applications and Renewals

EIA without EQA (or equivalent) at Master Practitioner level only

• Four weeks assessment
• Six weeks panel review
• One week award notification

= an average of 11 weeks from submission of application to award

All other EIA/ESIA applications (with or without EQA/ESQA or equivalent)

• Four weeks assessment
• Two weeks panel chair review
• One week award notification

= an average of seven weeks from submission of application to award notification.

EQA/ESQA Applications

EQA Senior Practitioner and Master Practitioner levels

• Four weeks assessment stage 1
• Completion of stage 2 application by applicant
• Four weeks assessment stage 2

• Six weeks panel review
• One week award notification

= an average of 11 weeks from submission of stage 2 application to award notification.

EQA at Practitioner level only or ESQA

• Four weeks assessment stage 1
• Completion of stage 2 application by applicant
• Four weeks assessment stage 2
• Two weeks panel chair review
• One week award notification

= an average of seven weeks from submission of stage 2 application to award notification.

EQA at Foundation level only

• Four weeks assessment
• Two weeks panel chair review
• One week award notification

= an average of seven weeks from submission of application to award notification.

EQA renewal at Master Practitioner level only

• Four weeks assessment

• Six weeks panel review
• One week award notification

= an average of 11 weeks from submission of application to award notification

EQA renewal at all other levels and ESQA renewals

• Four weeks assessment
• Two weeks panel chair review
• One week award notification

= an average of seven weeks from submission of application to award notification.
