Short summary of current and planned activities
Solidarity Hong Kong is currently working on EMCC’s Professor David Clutterbuck ‘5-in-5 programme’ project to support 5 million young people of school age in learning the skills of being a mentor and using mentors to achieve their own potential over a period of 5 years.
The Hong Kong programme is to impart mentoring skills to the students of Po Leung Kuk Tong Nai Kan Junior Secondary School and to prepare them to support English learning activities in a primary school. In tandem, the programme hopes to inculcate esteemed enhancement in the participating Junior Secondary students. The programme is in collaboration with GENUS, a social startup focused in providing English and education opportunities to under privileged children in Asia.
